Nokia’s Quick Social Media Crisis Management for F-Bomb Tweet

It seems not a day goes by where some organization or another isn’t doing crisis management for a social media mishap. Nokia New Zealand’s Twitter account was the victim of a strange incident recently where a single post with the words, “Fuck you” was sent out to its followers.

The post was quickly caught and deleted, and Nokia responded with the following tweet:

A quick response meant Nokia took no real flak for this one, and even drew some funny comments from fans. While Nokia says it is “investigating,” we’d put our money on this being the work of an angry intern or an accidental share to the wrong account, so don’t hold your breath for the actual culprit to be called out.
