Tim Scerba

Tim Scerba is a recognized international strategic corporate and marketing communications expert with a special expertise in the Latin America region. His areas of expertise include financial/investor relations, change management, community relations, and corporate branding and imaging in both consumer and business-to-business situations. He has extensive experience in all aspects of crisis and sensitive issues management, including risk audits, team preparation and simulation training, crisis inoculation and active situation management and recovery.

During the course of his career, Tim has worked with a wide variety of clients in consumer products, construction, technology, food and beverage, health, energy, tourism, automotive, financial services, legal, consumer electronics, and entertainment. These have included such companies as 3M, AMD, ArcelorMittal, Deloitte Consulting, General Motors, Grupo Apasco, Grupo FEMSA, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, MasterCard, Merrill Lynch Capital Markets, Motorola, Nestle, Netflix, Oracle, Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceuticals, Petrobras, Procter & Gamble, Roche, Samsung, Shell, Starbucks, Taco Bell, The Home Depot, Unilever, UPS, Walmart and Volkswagen.

​Tim has held senior positions with leading international communications and public relations agencies including Burson-Marsteller, Edelman, Hill & Knowlton, Rogers & Cowan/Weber Shandwick, and The Rowland Company. He also has held posts in financial services with TIAA-CREF and publishing with Latin Trade Magazine.

A frequent speaker on international communications, Tim graduated from Yale University and has completed specialized course work in Managing Corporate Change at the Stanford Business School; Public, Corporate and Financial Relations at New York University; and graduate course work with the Life Management Institute in New York. He is fluent in Spanish.
