Spot a crisis early to minimize damage
How do you spot a crisis? Clients are frequently surprised when they bring us in because of what they’ve deemed a “potential problem” and we inform them they’re heading straight for a full-blown crisis. While it’s usually obvious once the crisis hits you smack in the face, we’d rather you prevent the damage incurred from ever letting things reach that level.
So, how do you look at a situation and spot a crisis forming? It’s simpler than you may think. Ask yourself…Could this threaten people or property? Could this seriously interrupt operations? Is my reputation at risk of taking major damage?
If the answer to one or more of those questions is yes, you’re squaring up with a crisis. Now one more question – are you prepared?
